Jay graduated from Toronto School of Business with honours, where she earned a diploma in Accounting. She continued her professional studies from Centennial College to earn her designation. She later obtained her designation as a Registered Public Accountant Association (RPA) from The Registered Public Accountant Association of Alberta. She is currently working towards her CGA designation.
